Do you know how insane it is that instead of simply divesting from Israel (who is, by the way, committing genocide!), Columbia University chose to turn its campus into a police state??

Thinking about late 20th c. military dictatorships in Latin America & elsewhere, a common feature was universities being overrun by cops or troops to violently shut down dissent.

Anyone justifying this draconian crackdown, no matter the reason, is literally siding w/ fascism.

WKCR is reporting that NYPD will have a PERMANENT presence on columbia’s campus through the remaining school year, including graduation

More importantly/sadly, NYPD’s police budget is going towards empowering totalitarianism.
