Watched the #AVFC game in a pub tonight with a pal who’s a Villa fan. A better game for me as a neutral than for him! A fantastic, fluid affair with both going all out. A far cry from those boring 1st legs of old. Scoreline harsh on Villa, I thought.

Always seen snooker as a bit of a stiff upper lip sport … players somehow holding it together under extreme pressure … but tears flowing today from David Gilbert & now Stuart Bingham … the dam has broken. Shows what it means & the sport even better for it.

I don’t see #SUFC downing tools. Not that they ever have - just lack quality. Manager still presenting a defiant mood & I think Saturday is dangerous for Nottingham Forest. Bit of edge between these clubs as well. Just got a feeling about it…

I know Neil Warnock was more miffed than he let on when he was levered out of #HTAFC in September. Albeit allowed to leave graciously. But the outcome is even more upsetting for the club & owner. Even without hindsight, a predictably regrettable mistake.
