In a ceremony early this morning in Spain, Andrew Young, 91, accepted the World Jurist Association's highest honor, the World Peace and Liberty Award.

Praying for the speedy recovery of the wonderful Elisabeth Omilami, daughter of Civil Rights legend my Hosea Williams, who was my colleague and dear friend. Liz has carried on 'Hosea Helps,' the remarkable program he started to feed homeless people in Atlanta.

Gaurav Kumar, President of the Andrew J. Young Foundation, represented us at a signing ceremony in Washington, DC, to formalize an agreement to partner with Côte d'Ivoire. We are working to help further the country's educational goals, including accreditation for a university.

My foundation is working to advance educational goals of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, including U.S. accreditation for a major university. It was my pleasure to speak with the country's Prime Minister, Dr. Patrick Ashi, and Minister of State & Foreign Affairs, Kandia Camara.
