Switzerland is *certainly* far from perfect (esp. with gender roles), but one thing I really appreciate here is that I'm able to pay my PhDs and Postdocs a decent wage. Extra nice is Swiss National Science Foundation program that pays childcare for anybody on their grants, including PhDs
