It was great to meet with the Cancer Minister, Rt Hon Andrew Stephenson MP, and Department of Health and Social Care today to discuss #PancreaticCancer and the need to prioritise this deadly disease 🏥

We'll keep pushing for more #researchinvestment and action to improve survival for the deadliest common cancer 🧪

I welcome those who have changed their minds about this issue.

I hope Wes Streeting MP has the humility to know the ideology he espoused was a part of the problem.

He should have the good grace to apologise for the impact it had, including to women in his own party.

🆕 NHS England cancer checks top three million in a year for the first time.

We have invested record funding into cancer support, including £2.3 billion for 160 Community Diagnostic Centres, to enable earlier diagnosis and improve survival rates.
