I had the privilege to interact with members of the Rotary Club of Kampala Central South as they visited Parliament of Uganda.I commended them for the humanitarian work they do and cautioned them to be vigilant as they reach out to communities to prevent exposure to Ebola.

This morning we gave a warm African welcome to MPs and members of staff from the National Assembly of The Gambia who are here on a bench-marking mission. It is always a pleasure welcoming our African brothers and sisters to their other home, the Pearl of Africa.

I congratulate His Highness The Emorimor Papa Iteso Emolot Paul Sunday Etomeileng upon his coronation .May this historical event usher in a new dawn of hope , reconciliation and transformation of the Ateker.Emuria Koliai!

This morning we received the annual reports from the Inspectorate of Government and the Equal Opportunities Commission.The relevant Committees will digest the reports and feed the plenary with the facts for our attention and action. I want to thank the bodies for their hard work.

Our aspiration as the leadership of Parliament of Uganda is to create a Parliament that values unity and teamwork across the political divide.

I want to thank my brother Hon.Ndyomugenyi Roland from Rukiga County for this beautiful gift! we can do amazing things for our people if we work together in pursuing our national interests.
