It's Lefty Grove by a large margin. He massacred the American league. His raw ERA isn't impressive but then you look under the surface and see that 1930, 1931, 1935 and 1936 are 4 of the top 20 pitching seasons in MLB history... With 1931 potentially being the greatest ever.
