Decided: Belgium will take the lead at the EU level to re-evaluate our Association Agreement with Israel.

We will co-sponsor a UN resolution in favour of full Palestinian UN membership.

And we call for an EU-wide import duty on products coming from illegal Israeli settlements.

Experts say the UN Food and Agriculture Organization seriously distorted their research, in a flagship report on emissions. 'Multiple, egregious and conceptual errors' served to reduce the climate potential of shifts to plant-based diets, says Matthew Hayek. Story by me: theguardian.com/environment/20…

Over the years I’ve lost two friends, one Palestinian and one Lebanese, and nearly lost a third, a French cameraman, to the willingness of IDF soldiers to open fire even though they knew perfectly well who they were. But they felt sure their superiors would protect them.

They killed journalists. Prevented media from going to Gaza. Banned human rights experts.

I wonder why.
