Before, during, and after the mission, we collect data about our psychology and the bacteria in our bodies, to understand the changes that occur in microgravity. 🧫

This is crucial for future missions and developing countermeasures to help us adapt to the space environment.

In microgravity, blood tends to accumulate in the body’s upper part, affecting cardiovascular & respiratory systems. During my mission, I studied these effects by conducting experiments, one of which was Cardiobreath, monitoring changes in health indicators at rest & exercise. 🩺

في الجاذبية الصغرى يتجمع الدم في الجهة العليا من الجسم، وهذا يؤثر على القلب، والأوعية الدموية، والتنفس.

I concluded my USA visit by meeting students from the Rolling Terrace Elementary School, along with astronauts Stephen Bowen and Frank Rubio. I also took part in an event by the Cancer Moonshot initiative, which aims to combat the disease - a common goal of many ISS experiments.
