The name of this organization shall be the Prince George’s County High School Athletic Association.
ARTICLE II: Purpose
The purpose of this Association shall be to promote, organize, and administer athletics among the high schools in Prince George’s County.

There are academic requirements for participation in sports. Student grades are calculated and reported as four quarters throughout the school year. The minimum grade-point average (GPA) for extracurricular activities is 2.0.
