Here we go. Second conference in two weeks. I was in Auckland just three days ago for #IPFC11 , and I’m now in Canberra for #Biosystematics ! Elena Kupriyanova talking about the taxonomy of the very understudied and yet hyper diverse polychaete worms.

Her name is on the acknowledgment slide of nearly every talk at #IPFC11 , and for good reason! The wonderful Amanda Hay, who just gave a brilliant talk to a packed room on the legacy of AMRI. Specimens and tissues come from somewhere, and that that’s often a museum.

🥇Congratulations Dr Jodi Rowley (Jodi Rowley) on receiving the Innovation in NSW Public Sector Science & Engineering Prize!

Dr Rowley is Lead Scientist of FrogID, a project which has engaged citizens in recording frog calls to create Australia's largest frog dataset.
