On USE OF #VETO I said at #UNGA yesterday: The veto & its undemocratic nature run against the very principles UN has been built on. It’s sad to see overwhelming majority of Member States’ will to accept Palestine 🇵🇸 as a full member of UN has been nullified by VETO in the #UNSC .

At UNSC open debate, PR Muhammad Muhith 🇧🇩 recalled painful memories of 200,000 women who faced sexual violence during 1971 #genocide ; expressed concerns at continued use of rape as weapon of war. He called for a gender-responsive disarmament & non-proliferation agenda to end #CRSV
