2026 Bastrop TE/H-Back Brent Carter (Brent) is going to be a player this fall for the Bears. A two-sport athlete stands 6-foot-3 already and will continue to grow and develop.

Had a great morning at Bastrop High watching the morning workouts today. Thank you Jake Griedl for allowing me catch a workout, great time with Jay Wilson as well.

Loads of talent roaming the halls here, going to be a busy spring season in Bastrop!

2025 Texas Tech CB commit Ramonz Adams (“R.2” 🌟 Ramonz Adams) is locked in with the Red Raiders and has an OV to Lubbock locked in for June 7-9.

On HC Joey McGuire: “I could tell right away he was someone you want to be around and be coached by.”

Bastrop has a pair of 1st team All-District 2025 WRs that will be very tough to defend this fall.

• WR Jaelyn Gratten (Jaelyn Gratten🃏❤️) stands 6-foot-1 already. Bright future.

• WR Keyshon Moore (@Keyshon_Moore) recorded 1100+ yards and 15 TD last fall. UTEP offered.

Eager to see 2025 Bastrop ATH Quintaelyn Joyner (Quintaelyn Joyner) back in action this spring. Has plenty of athleticism and a plus-frame to make plays. Will get looks at LB.

Learn the name Weston Nielsen (Weston Nielsen QB) for the 2027 class. The Bastrop QB has earned offers from Oregon, Texas Tech, Miami, Baylor and plenty others already.

Sarkisian and Milwee each visited January. One of the top QBs in ‘27 emerging in Bastrop.

A pair of talented trench players to keep an eye on this spring.

•2026 DL Kenyon Moore stands 6-foot and 305 pounds. Will be a NT at the next level.
• 2025 OL Jason Taylor is up to 6-foot-6, holds an offer from Arkansas Pine-Bluff and visited UTEP in January.

Really bright future here for 2027 Bastrop OLB Austin Moilan (Austin Moilan). Already stands 6-foot-2 and coaches raved about his potential.
