Watching a Minnesota team do this is like an out of body experience.

We do max speed and long runs with our distance kids just about year-round. Had a kid run 1:55 in the 800 two years ago, and come back with a 48.5 in the 4x400 a half-hour later at state. Last year, had a four-year CC/distance track kid make the section final in the 400.
