Having worked in criminal justice for 24 years (I know, I don't look old enough 😉) I've realised that it's made me hyper aware of all the ways I may be taken advantage of and that I've become super suspicious of everything. I really need to trust a bit more in humans.

5 years ago I would get really excited if I beat the Google maps estimated time of arrival, even by a minute.

Now I get excited if I manage to keep my car above 35mpg on any given journey.

Please stop writing scenes where men see a much younger, attractive woman and follow her as a means to seduce her. It isn't romantic. It isn't sexy. It's scary and intimidating. Particularly when there's an age difference.
