2011: Request from Rob Coppola- Another game that I'll do a deep dive on during the regular season. But the ask here was when Ahmad Bradshaw nailed Poole & went in for a TD in #NYGiants key win over the Jets on Christmas Eve to springboard a Super Bowl championship run #TogetherBlue

2007: HBD Tom Coughlin turns 77. He was a #NYGiants assistant from 88-90 & after stops at BC & Jags became #NYGiants head coach from 2004-2015. He compiled a 102-90 record, 2nd most wins in NYG history & made the playoffs 5 times, 3 NFC East titles & 2 Super Bowl championships.

1997: BOTD Jim Fassel who would have turned 74. Fassel was #NYGiants QB coach/OC under Handley from 1991-1992 & took over as head coach from 1997-2003. In that time he made the playoffs 3 times, won 2 NFC East titles & made the Super Bowl in 2000 & won Coach of Year in 1997

1986: Request from WEB76- #NYGiants celebration post Super Bowl XXI. Because of a clash w/ Mayor Koch, there was no ticker tape parade in NYC. The players who didn't go to the Pro Bowl went to Giants Stadium in the freezing cold where Parcells had popcorn dumped on him

1986: Request from Joey Mariano- Lionel Manuel's TD in the 1986 NFC Championship Game. Manuel missed most of the season after a dirty hit to his knee vs Saints in Week 4, but he came back for the playoffs & his TD helped make it 10-0 in #NYGiants 17-0 win to go to Super Bowl XXI

2012: Request from WhoAtTheWhatNow? - Stevie Brown was a turnover machine for #NYGiants & he put it all on display in NYG 29-24 win at Dallas w/ 3 turnovers, 2 picks & a fumble recovery. #TogetherBlue

1986: Request from G Money 🇺🇲- As the #NYGiants were rolling, week after week, Captain Harry Carson would dump gatorade on Parcells after each win. Going 14-2 & up 49-3 over the Niners in the playoffs, Carson had to get creative & that included a disguise in hat & coat

2011: Request from AZ Ranger - #NYGiants comeback win in Arizona. I will do a much deeper dive on this game in Week 2 coming up soon, but NYG came back from being down 27-17 w/ ~5:00 to go & took the lead for good on Eli Manning TD pass to Hakeem Amir Nicks in 31-27 win

1971: Request from PoppsNFLstuff- Spider Lockhart highlight. Spider was a 2x Pro Bowler in 11 years w/ #NYGiants & is #3 on the NYG INT list w/ 41 (here picking off Dan Reeves). Lockhart passed away at 43 before 1986 season & NYG wore a patch in his honor #TogetherBlue

1997: 26 years ago today was Jim Fassel's 1st game as #NYGiants head coach. It was also 2nd rounder Tiki Barber 1st NFL game & he scored the 1st of his 68 career TDs for NYG, 2nd most in NYG history (behind Frank Gifford's 78) in NYG 31-17 win over the Eagles #TogetherBlue

2008: HBD Derrick Ward who turns 43. Ward was signed off the Jets practice squad in 2004 & played 5 years for #NYGiants . He got more time at RB & had a breakout 2008 w/ 1025 yards rushing & led NFL w/ 5.6 ypc. His 215 yards vs Panthers helped clinch home field #TogetherBlue

1997: Request from The (former) King of Queens- A Jersey highlight per calendar day. Today we will go w/ #30 Charles Way. One of the best value #NYGiants draft picks in history. Way taken in 6th round of 95 draft turned into one of the best FB in NFL & had a career high 114 yards in win v Cards

2019: HBD Deone Bucannon turns 31. A former 1st round pick of the Cardinals in 2014, Bucannon joined #NYGiants midseason in 2019 & ended up playing in 9 games, including 1 start as he rejoined his former defensive coach James Bettcher w/ NYG. #TogetherBlue

1994: Request from Chris - Arguably Dave Brown best win in his career, going on the road against Belichick's best Browns team who won 11 games, #NYGiants late drive included a 3rd & 15 Chris Calloway catch & Daluiso took over at K w/ 33 yard game winner 16-13 #TogetherBlue
