I see this messaging a lot. It’s true to a degree, but it’s also far too simplistic.

Land needs to be used as efficiently and sustainably as possible (eg vertical, permaculture, hort). The predominant extensive animal agriculture module is the exact opposite of what is required.

This is brilliant. Apart from the fact that Ireland is also one of the most nature depleted countries in the world.

Excellent video, thanks! I keep hearing, that I'm supposed to do an 'annual hay cut' in July, as well as mowing in September. This doesn't make sense to me, as so many life-cycles would be disrupted by mowing in July. Should I really only mow in September?

Came across some massive old Ash trees - delighted to see them all flowering and still showing plenty of vigour.

Many plants have very specific requirements- these wood anenomes are growing only in the North facing shadow of an old tree.

I have a far bigger issue with a national park that belongs to ALL of us being kept in a wrecked state by sheep grazing.

No rights come without responsibilities to do the right thing by everyone else.
