Few days ago I was able to visit the most affected in Khulna of #CycloneRemal together with ⁦Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS)⁩ and ⁦IFRC Asia Pacific⁩ teams, where we witnessed first hand the destruction to the affected communities. Our gratitude and admiration to our donors and volunteers!

The floods in Sylhet are impacting millions of people, affecting shelters and livelihoods. Together with Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) we have visited the affected communities in the most remotes areas, and accompanied our volunteers in the distribution of potable water and food.

A month has passed since I took these pictures, since then, Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) with the support of IFRC Asia Pacific Emergency Appeal, we’ve been able to provide food, potable water, shelter assistance, primary health care to thousands of people living in the most affected areas.
