In the SHAPE randomized trial in patients with low-risk cervical cancer, simple hysterectomy was not inferior to radical hysterectomy with respect to 3-year pelvic recurrence & was associated with a lower risk of urologic complications. Full trial results: nej.md/4bQqME5
