It's really quite staggering that the agency legislated to advise the Australian Government on climate does not include science or human rights in its 'pillars' of emissions targets advice.

What flood? What cyclone Megan?
More than 200mm across a huge area, occupied by one of Australia’s dirtiest mines the McArthur River mine. Yet there isn’t even a weather radar to give visibility to the frequent cyclones and flood events that visit Borroloola and the Barkly.

Unplanned power outage in Fitzroy Crossing WA again since 4:30pm and Horizon Power outages says back online 8:30pm.

Current 34 degrees muggy and Fitzroy River is at a minor flood level (9.5m) so people heading to flood ways for swimming to stay cool.

WOD: Rirringki

The Word of the Day is Rirringki which means side of, edge, bank in Walmajarri.

Filmed in 29/Dec/2022 at a site that no longer exists as the January 2023 flood cut back about 200m of bank. Edited and posted same day a year later.
