A Friday evening drop for y'all: DC State Board of Ed will soon start looking at shaping guidelines around how AI is used in the classroom.

Today the DC State Board of Ed met with DC City Council to build relationships, talk priorities & discuss avenues for collaboration. I’m definitely looking forward to more of these!

This morning, CM Allen's Team and @brandonbest sent a letter to Deputy Mayor Lindsey Appiah and DC Deputy Mayor for Education reaffirming community support for Safe Passages at the Eastern Market and Potomac Ave Metro stations. With four schools within a short walk, its critical to include Potomac Ave in this program.

📚 I had the privilege of attending the “Building Power Together” happy hour hosted by Leadership for Educational Equity. I connected with educators and leaders from all over the U.S. 🇺🇸 It was inspiring to witness the collective efforts being made to enhance educational equity.
