Yormark said he “certainly wasn’t happy” with the revenue distribution but “it was fine.” He said repeatedly he is betting on the Big 12’s future.

Big 12 commish Brett Yormark said the narrative about the partnership between the SEC and Big 10 is “overstated” and the chemistry amongst the Power 4 “is the best it’s ever been.”

Army and Navy both stressed they want to keep their game where it is scheduled, Hancock said.

Hancock said the committee will establish the final ranking on selection day and the result of the army navy game won’t be considered. But those schools can be considered for the CFP.

Hancock said Pat Chun stepped down from the selection committee after moving from Washington State to Washington. They are looking for a replacement to start his three-year term.

Hancock said they didn’t talk about format beyond the next two seasons.

Hancock said the budget for family travel expenses increased from $1.5 million to $7.5 million.

Hancock said they talked about future sites, but no decisions or specific cities. Also talked about adding more officiating crews - neutral crews - for all 11 games.
