Today is #InternationalFirefightersDay where we recognise the sacrifices firefighters make to keep their communities as safe as possible, especially those working around the world in difficult conditions. We'd like to thank our current & past firefighters for their contributions.
Today is #FirefightersMemorialDay .
Yesterday, our Service Training Centre held a minute's silence and at midday today stations will join firefighters across the UK in a minute's silence to reflect and remember.

We are thrilled that our Ambassadors, The Antarctic Fire Angels were winners of the Outstanding Team Award from The Women in the Fire Service Awards.
