CIDI climate adaption and learning centre hosted by st Raphael Mbuye Primary School in Rakai .Rabbit keeping ,growing organic vegetables plus Apiary Bee keeping activities are carried out at the centre.
The above activities support the nutritional requirements for the pupils .

Students from Yumbe have been well received at CIDI head offices.
They have been briefly oriented about the CIDI Board Scholarship Program and some basic aspects prior to setting off for their new school, St. Jude's secondary school.

The students have been ushered to their dormitories by their fellow students

Most of them had no hopes of joining high school and are glad to have been offered a place by CIDI

She says the biggest challenge they face as girls in their region is that their parents always want to marry them off so they can get money

CIDI head office team has received the best performing pupils (PLE) from Napiananya PS in Nakapiripirit district under the Karamoja project who have qualified for sponsorship from S1-S6 as promised by the CIDI board members.
