Came across this mushroom recently. I've never noticed gills exposed on the top of a mushroom cap like this ? Is this normal or unusual and can anybody help me with ID please ?

Yesterday Lochan a’ Chreagain was back for a short time. The area to the west of the Quoich water sometimes floods in high rainfall, creating an ‘ephemeral waterbody’, known as Lochan a’ Chreagain. It is believed the lochan first formed after the Muckle Spate of 1829.

'The outdoors is definitely for everyone'

Our first Scottish film is out! Last month we spent a wonderful day at @LochInshOutdoor in the Cairngorms National Park Authority.

We kayaked, foraged, walked & danced under clear blue & dark skies.
