Thanks for engaging responses. Nothing “integrated” about current system driven by siloes, perverse financial drivers, costing more in duplication & wasted GP/Hosp time & adversely affecting patients. Needs new commissioning paradigm by NHS England & “integrated” care boards

I spent 2 months by my mum’s bedside in hospital before she died.

Since returning to work in ICU I have thought often & painfully about how we are often unaware as healthcare workers of the trauma patients & their families will have to carry forward - regardless of what happens

Honoured to be amongst such illustrious company but want to pay tribute to thousands other talented ethnic minority people not on this list who’re doing an absolutely magnificent job in serving our health service and leading change

Perplexing how many GP appts wasted daily on such requests (& reduces GP access for other patients). Having explained to patient they're being started on a drug, surely takes longer to write to GP than just issuing it. Drug cost same to taxpayer whether prescribed by hosp or GP.
