⚖️ Billionaire businessman Bernie Ecclestone has admitted fraud following a lengthy, complex and worldwide investigation into his tax affairs by HMRC and prosecution by the CPS.

He has paid more than £652m and was sentenced to 17 months' imprisonment, suspended for two years.

⚖️ A man who killed a stranger with a single punch before entering a pub and bragging about it has been jailed.

Darren John Fell, 41, was convicted of manslaughter and was today sentenced to nine years in prison after striking Wayne Sheppard.

⚖️Jaswant Singh Chail, 21, who threatened to kill HM Queen Elizabeth II, was sentenced today to nine years' custody at Broadmoor Hospital with a further five years on extended licence. He was made subject to a restriction under S45A Mental Health Act 1983.
