These closures are scheduled to continue through July 15 Sundays - Thursdays, with no overnight closures on Friday or Saturday nights.

#SanLuisObispo Daily lane closures on Highway 1 begin Tuesday, June 4 for a paving project.

These lane closures will take place daily between 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.

#SANLUISOBISPOCOUNTY Caltrans will conduct a mowing and vegetation management operation June 3 - June 6 along both sides of Hwy. 41 West from just north of Homestead Rd. to south of Rio Vista Way.

Expect one-way traffic control from 8am to 1:30pm, delays not to exceed 10 mins.

Culvert work on the project to construct improvements between the 41st Ave. and Soquel Dr. interchanges will result in full overnight closures of southbound #Hwy1 starting Sunday June 2, for 3 nights, as well as overnight closures of southbound offramp at Soquel Dr. for 5 nights.

#Hwy1 at Paul’s Slide, closed since January 2023, when an estimated 500,000 cubic yards of material engulfed the roadway, is now expected to reopen by early to mid-July. The reopening will open direct access from the south to Lucia, the Camaldoli Hermitage, and area residents.

#Update Caltrans is nearing completion of reconstructing the US 101 San Jose Creek Bridge on NB US 101 in Goleta. A NB traffic switch will occur the morning of June 5, placing NB traffic on the newly completed bridge, ending the temporary two-way traffic on southbound 101.

The widening of #StateRoute156 continues in #SanBenitoCounty . Four new lanes are under construction with completion expected next year. Photos and video show steel rebar placed before asphalt and concrete overlays for durability.

#TravelAlert A paving project on State Route 1 in Arroyo Grande will result in a full closure of SR 1 between Valley Road and the intersection of Doty Drive and Rio Road daily starting on Wednesday, May 29 through Friday, May 31 from 8:30 a.m to 3:30 p.m.
