We had a great #CleanCA event partnering with the St. Patrick’s School in Arroyo Grande. Our ‘little litter hero’s of 3rd and 6th graders worked to clean Pismo Beach. We also visited Ocean View Elementary School to talk about litter prevention.

Our colleagues at the Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission continue their commitment to meaningful public engagement with upcoming in person and virtual open houses to learn about proposed rail transit vehicle types, initial conceptual alignment and solicit input.

The southbound #US101 on and offramps at Sala Road in #Prunedale will close at noon on Sunday June 16, thru Friday June 21 at noon, due to ongoing drainage and guardrail work. The NB offramp at Crazy Horse Canyon remains closed until 6/14 at noon with NB onramp closed until 6/19.

#SantaCruzCounty The Art on Wheels event taking place in Watsonville on June 8 will result in the closure of State Route 152 (Main Street) between E. Beach Street and Peck Street between 7 am to 7 pm.

Travelers on State Route 152 may detour using E. Beach Street.

#TravelAlert in #PasoRobles : Overnight traffic control on Hwy. 46 East begins Sunday, June 9 at 7 pm for paving between Hwy. 46/Airport Road and the Hwy. 46/US 101 interchange.

Work to take place Sundays through Thursdays between 7 pm to 6 am, weather permitting, for 4 weeks.

#SanLuisObispo Daily lane closures on Highway 1 begin Tuesday, June 4 for a paving project.

These lane closures will take place daily between 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.

#TravelAlert Hwy 17 set for overnight lane closures for culvert repairs with add'l closures at Vine Hill Rd. starting June 9 from 8 pm to 5 am.

These closures are scheduled to continue through July 15 Sundays - Thursdays, with no overnight closures on Friday or Saturday nights.

#Hwy1 at Paul’s Slide, closed since January 2023, when an estimated 500,000 cubic yards of material engulfed the roadway, is now expected to reopen by early to mid-July. The reopening will open direct access from the south to Lucia, the Camaldoli Hermitage, and area residents.

Lane closure in place on southbound US 101 between State Route 156 West and Sala Road in Prunedale for a second overnight of drainage work. Travelers are encouraged to drive safely in this work zone.

Overnight drainage work complete on southbound US 101 between State Route 156 and Sala Road. Work resumes this evening at 10 pm. Travelers can expect a lane closure while we excavate the roadway, make drainage improvements and resurface. Travel safe in the work zone.

All northbound lanes of US 101 are now open following this traffic incident near San Juan Road earlier this morning.

The northbound lanes of #US101 are closed near the Monterey/San Benito County Line at San Juan Road due to an overturned big rig truck. The highway is expected to re-open at approximately 4 am.
