Brain CNS cancers are caused by tumors in the brain and spinal cord which are called central nervous system (CNS) tumors. These tumors occur when abnormal cells form in any part of the brain or spine area.
Only about one-third of brain tumours are cancerous.

Contributing factors for head and neck cancers.
Alcohol, tobacco (secondhand smoke), and HPV infections are key factors. Combined use of tobacco & alcohol escalates risk. Other factors like occupational exposure, radiation, and genetic disorders play a role too.

Look out for lumps in the neck, mouth, or throat, lingering sore throat, difficulty in swallowing, or a change or hoarseness in the voice.
Consult a doctor or dentist if you notice any of the above symptoms.
