The list of Republican senators still voting against the Ukraine aid package is very revealing. Shockingly, it includes Intelligence Committee Vice Chair, Rubio. The Kremlin’s influence in American conservative politics is clearly growing, despite Putin’s ever-worsening conduct.

It’s great the US House has voted through the $61 billion Ukraine aid package. Hopefully a turning point in the war that represents a big defeat for Trump, his Republican acolytes and Putin’s regime. But we must beware of Moscow launching a new offensive before the aid impacts.

Trump assails European allies, saying they should 'match the money put in' by the US to help Ukraine. In fact, Europe has spent more than the US. As of January, EU institutions have committed $93.2 billion to $74.3 billion by the US in total military, financial and humanitarian…

Why did it take a, failed, Iranian drone attack on Israel for the USG and UK govt seriously to target Tehran’s relevant military enterprises for sanctions, when Ukraine has suffered these strikes for many months? Real double standards here and damaging to our reputation in Kyiv.

When I worked on the Magnitsky Act in 2012, it passed the Senate 92-4. I joked afterwards that “there was no pro Putin torture and murder lobby in Washington”. I’m afraid to say that times have changed. Senator JD Vance is now parroting Putin’s exact words claiming that seizing…

How many Patriot batteries are collecting dust in NATO nations instead of saving Ukrainian lives & infrastructure? It's a disgrace. All these weapons were designed for defending Europe and destroying the Russian military; let them do their job! Send everything!

Astonishing doublethink from Truss here. Praises Trump for arranging initial arms exports to Ukraine. Conveniently omits to mention that no-one has been more instrumental in slowing or stopping American military support, via his influence in Congress, than Trump himself.

Instead of talking vaguely about supporting Ukraine, seemingly as a lesser priority than Israel, Mr Sunak should be lobbying the US congress to approve renewed aid and buying up air defence systems on the open market to supply to Kyiv without delay. Short of this, Ukraine burns.

The deployment of Western militaries to intercept Iranian missiles and drones aimed at Israel stands in stark contrast to our diminishing support for Ukraine which is suffering from a chronic shortage of air defence weaponry. We clearly can and simply must do better than this.

1. We've seen that has a v comprehensive air defence. I don't understand why can't help provide the same.

2. There are risks with Ukraine winning the war. There are greater risks with it losing.

3. Ukrainians are on the back foot not thru lack of will,…

When Russia started the war against Ukraine, we were a substantial group that called for the West imposing a no-fly zone as in Iraq. Now, the US, UK & France have proven that it was perfectly possible with regard to Israel. Why did they refuse to protect Ukraine?/1

Jonathan Katz The US has provided very few Patriots to Ukraine, unfortunately, & shd do more. Israel may be prioritising its own needs now, but when Zelenskyy first asked for Iron Dome Israel's refusal was clearly politically motivated, based on desire not to complicate relations with Russia.

When terrorist state Iran bombs Israel, the US & UK shoot down its missiles. When the terrorist state Russia bombs Ukraine, the the West does not even deliver air defense equipment any longer.
How can the West make sense of its passivity over Russia's aggression against Ukraine?

The reaction in Ukraine to the US/UK action in defense of Israel is devastating. The Ukrainians see only betrayal, no support especially from the US.

Please note that PM Netanyahu has not supported Ukraine against Russian aggression.
Netanyahu maintains close relations with Putin.
Israel has not imposed any sanctions against Russia.
Israel & Dubai are the main haven of sanctioned Russians.
Russia is allied with Iran.

Trump’s favoured Ukraine ‘peace’ deal apparently involves ceding Crimea and the Donbas to Moscow. This would be a triumph for Putin and disastrous for European security. Within 5 years Russia would have regrouped and rearmed and we, NATO, would find ourselves at war with them.

It is ironic & tragic that NATO celebrates 75 years of success while standing on the sidelines of the war it was created to fight — a Kremlin land invasion of a European democracy. To uphold Euro-Atlantic stability,
NATO allies need to commit fully to victory in Ukraine.

Russia is trying to make Kharkiv unliveable ... its people are too strong for that. NATO should be pouring air defence and long range strike weapons into Ukraine and upping our own production fast 👇🏽🇬🇧🇺🇦

And according to CBS, the mastermind of the Havana Syndrome op is Russian Security Council deputy head, Averyanov. He even recruited his own son into the operation. Averyanov also ran the Skripal op in Salisbury and likely Prigozhin’s plane crash. One fine day justice awaits him.
