Just finished a core strength yoga class, pretty sure I’ve discovered two new muscles groups never ever discovered before in my tummy and bum. Currently laying on the sofa wondering how to summon the strength to get of it 🤦🏻‍♀️😆.

Took a day of annual leave today and went paddle boarding with my family, there’s nothing like it for forgetting your troubles whilst you concentrate on not falling in 😆. Perhaps I need to concentrate a little harder, btw I’m not pulling her in I was holding her up 😀

So wonderful to see the ⁦LTHT LGBT+ Staff Network⁩ staff network get recognised at Time to Shine. They really are the definition of kindness, and I celebrate with real joy them being their true authentic selves.

I went stand up paddle boarding today for the first time, I was the first to fall in and the first to swim for the paddle. Someone close to me asked if I was having a mid life crisis, I said no, I’ve just realised to have a life you have to live

Came in today to find a card and some Marmalade on my desk from someone checking that I was ok after my family’s recent bereavement. Such a simple and immeasurably kind thing to do. Thank you so much.

Delighted to showcase the great work in our elective surgical hub Wharfedale Hospital to reduce our elective backlog. Increasing theatre capacity and now including overnight stay allows us to offer weekly penile implant lists and other complex operations Leeds Teaching Hospitals
