Clyde Birding This afternoon at Ardmore point and not a day to leave your scope adapter at home 😞 2 x Great Northern Diver , 1 x Red Throated Diver , 2x Black Guillemot, 5 Great Crested Grebe , 2 Whimbrel , 2 x Common Tern , 1 x Sandwich Tern , 5x shelduck .
Clyde Birding Many Swifts at Castle Semple Loch yesterday. At least 20, probably many more.
Summer plumaged Great Northern Diver and 6 Common Scoter off Ardmore Point today.
Best of the rest, 7 Whimbrel, 4 Bar-tailed Godwit, 5+ Common Tern, 3 Sandwich Tern, 3 lingering Pink-footed Geese and at least 16 Gannet. Clyde Birding

Clyde Birding Very obliging Whimbrel at Lunderston Bay earlier landed feet away from me with 1 Sandwich Tern also. 2 Minke Whales also heading slowly south.
