Hard to entice young coaches to want to get in the game and grind it out long enough to stay in it at its current state. You're on the clock almost 24/7-365.

Ive seen several articles now about coaches burnout at the college level. Too many ppl outside the game think a 6 figure paycheck is enough to ignore mental/emotional fatigue.

Its a lot of guys doing it for 30-40k and working 70-80 hours.

Either one of these should be higher on the list 🤷‍♂️

Failure is uncomfortable. Mistakes are uncomfortable. But they teach you way more about yourself than the successes do. If the reps and environment isnt pushing you to be intentional on your mental/emotional toughness then you need increase your work rate.

Do you allow your bad days to turn into worse days or do you use them as opportunities to dig deeper and turn into growth?

Every rep wont be perfect, the fight is between the ears. Failures are just opportunities to work on your responses.
