To HS Athletes:

A lot of people will have their hand out telling you not to forget them if you make “it”.

But the key is, will they forget you, if you don’t make “it”?

Everyone will want to be a part of your story. Focus on the people that will be around even if you fall.

I heard for years that weight room success equals wins on game day. I thought that had to do with developing stronger athletes. That's only part of it.

The other part has to do with weight room culture. It teaches commitment, hard work, grit, camaraderie, team work, sacrifice.

Making noise on the court and on the field! Very special talent!

When I tell you these guys have been in the lab! Celebrating each other’s success is what we are all about!

God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called.

We can make time for the words of man, then we can definitely make time to get in the word of God. Some words feed you entertainment while His word feeds you life. I’m a fan of everything going on in the music world, but press pause today and tap into the good book.

Between Pastor ;Philip Mitchell, Jerry Flowers, Conway Edwards, I’ve learned so much about the word of God. As a kid I’d be ready to leave church after an hour. Now it’s easily 4-6 hours. When I was a child I thought like a child. When I became a man I put away childish things.

Rainwater is a tough on/off ball defender that did a good job of controlling the tempo of the game. He got to his spots and attacked the rim with ease and did a great job of facilitating for others.
