I don’t know any of the coaches personally in this, and not sure why I actually care to comment, but it’s really impressive to see a coach of Coach Luper’s stature publicly rattle off a dozen or more of his colleagues/competitors as great coaches w/out as much as a pause!

Couldn’t help but pull out a few scouting reports for sentimental reasons! This was one of the thickest ever compiled as we hosted a terrific Camas team in the 1st round of the WIAA playoffs in ‘03! Crazy journey to be full circle 20 years later! #GoPapermakers (no pun intended)

What you don’t see is that this is the city record stick from good old 1986 (I had just turned 10). It is engraved with my cousin Tim Murphy, Matt Robertson, Corey Plaster and me as we broke the Spokane city record in running 54.3 seconds in the 4x100 meter relay 👊🏼!

It’s spring break ‘24 & I am finally putting what is old behind! Last spring I had to place what was my previous job in nearly 40 boxes, consisting of way too many yellow pads & hand crafted scout reports. The next chapter is officially upon us & it starts w/ a trip to the dump!

Football aside, which I definitely love having a personal Air Raid master on speed dial, Eric Mele 🏴‍☠️ is one of the most genuine humans I have met in my 47 years of existence! I could not be more excited for his next chapters to unfold in Carolina Blue! 🏴‍☠️

This is me knowing my daughter “loves” something! No organized camp, no paid instruction, no one watching (minus me from the window - lol) … just her in the early morning hours on a Saturday engaging in something she enjoys! #ThrowbackChild
