Great to see that the people of West Oxfordshire have rejected the Tories again. We hope that the Alliance continues its cooperative, progressive agenda for local people.

Great to see this result in West Oxfordshire.

It’s obvious the Tories are out of touch, out of ideas, and out of road - and what comes next is still to fight for.

Also in West Oxfordshire, the Liberal Democrats have retained Woodstock & Bladon, where veteran councillor Elizabeth Poskitt was facing a challenge from former Oxfordshire County Council Conservative leader Ian Hudspeth.

🌹Labour wins Rushmoor Council!🌹

The key? Single progressive-challenger wards. Labour won in several wards where they were the only challenge to the Tories.

When progressives work together, not against each other, we can beat FPTP. Next, we have to deliver PR.

NEW: Progressive Tragedy in Suella Braverman MP's backyard. The Tories hold Fareham Borough Council on a minority of the vote.

71% of the seats, but just 46% of the popular vote 🤯

Progressives must work together to & deliver PR.

When we don't, it ends in tragedy.

“I know all parties will say ‘vote for us anyway’, but ... voters are a bit more discerning than that. Last time, I think Labour voters supported the Liberal Democrat candidate in Witney and that is acknowledged and gratefully received.' andy graham westenglandbylines.co.uk/politics/democ…
