The National Emergency Management Agency, with the assistance of the Nigerian Navy and the Nigerian Red Cross Society, on Monday evacuated some flood victims from Rivers and Bayelsa States.

In many communities in South-south Nigeria, farms were prematurely harvested, people are stranded, and those in displacement camps complain of lack of support.
