A sad one. Thornton much fuller on this, as you'd imagine: 'That dear, sweet angel grew worse ... and when Mr Thornton and I came to pray for her, she held up those sweet eyes and hands to her dear Father in heaven, looked up and cried, in her language, "Dad. Dad. Dad!"' (Bk 2).
