Welp, the feeling of absolute despair is creeping in again. Spoke to the nursing staff at my mom's LTC facility on the phone, and asked if they could please mask around my mom. Nope, 'Dr. Henry says we don't have to anymore'. They would not listen to any of my concerns at all.

Yesterday, I met a Psych Trainee whose family visa got rejected. He has been waiting to meet his 3 year old child & spouse since COVID.

He was in depression, crying like a child and begging for help😓
