🔎 Ahead of our 25th anniversary later this year, our planning group met in Edinburgh last weekend

📚 MSYPs toured Visit the Scottish Parliament and then visited @NatLibScot to look through some of the SYP memorabilia

I had a fantastic time with Scottish Youth Parliament’s 25th Anniversary Group this weekend!

It was great to learn about SYP in the past and present and think about our future whilst visiting the @NatLibScot and Scottish Parliament!

Pleased to announce i am a member of SYPs Anti Racist Development Programme Group! The group name is Anti Racist Champions or ARC for short. We had our first residential in Edinburgh and we made lots of progress in developing the programme. Keep an eye out for more ARC updates 🫶

Additionally, during ARDP’s residential we named our group; Anti-Racist Champions (ARC) ✨💬

With this name in mind, we will continue to foster an inclusive culture Scottish Youth Parliament with internal training sessions.

We can’t wait to continue this ongoing work! #ARC 🌍🙌🏾

Last weekend we had our first residential for the Anti-Racism Development Programme (ARDP) Scottish Youth Parliament ✊🏽📚

We got up to so many things!!

• Covered topics on racial inclusivity and anti-racism
• Forward Planning and Delivery of training

Our main focus was analysing the data from our survey into intersectionality in mental health.
