ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಹಿರಿಯ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರಲ್ಲೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಚಂಪಕನಾಥಜೀ(94) ಇಂದು ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ನಿಧನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 1942ರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಘ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾದಾಗ, ಮೊದಲ Batchನ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಚಂಪಕನಾಥಜೀ ಒಬ್ಬರು. 1946ರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊ.ವೆ.ಶೇಷಾದ್ರಿಜೀ, ಚಂಪಕನಾಥಜೀ, ಕೃ.ಸೂರ್ಯನಾರಾಯಣಜೀ- ಈ ಮೂವರು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ಮೊದಲ ತಂಡದ ಪ್ರಚಾರಕರು.

Senior RSS Swayamsevak Sri Champakanath (94 years) passed away in Bengaluru. He became RSS Swayamsevak in 1942. In 1946, he was one among the FIRST batch of 3 RSS Pracharaks from Karnataka along with Late HV Sheshadri and Late K Surya Narayan Rao.
