ERC Africa confirmed to me that Zimbabwe Electoral Commission told them the figure is in American dollars.

This is way more expensive than ALL major commercial printers in Zimbabwe.

Is ZEC now a profit-making company?

This is illegal according to Section 21(5) of the Electoral Act.

ZEC is demanding an exorbitant fee of US$187,000 to release the printed national voters' roll. 😳

This is ILLEGAL. Section 21(5) of the Electoral Act clearly states that the fee should not exceed the reasonable cost of production of the voters roll.

Section 28 of the Electoral Act says that if you find ghost voters or double voters within 30 days before an election, ZEC should not make any changes until AFTER the election.

That's why ZEC prefers to delay releasing the roll.

Parties should act NOW, not last minute!
