I spent my weekend with Milwaukee Parks Foundation and outdoor recreation enthusiasts visiting some of our most popular locations. It was great to see the passion our community has for these spaces, as we all continue working together to advocate for support and investments in our parks.

It's been 10 years since we lost Dontre Hamilton. Every day, his memory keeps us focused on advancing equity and justice for all.

I joined the Hamilton family and residents today to honor Dontre’s life and recommit to building a healthier, stronger, and safer Milwaukee County.

Yesterday, we talked to our residents at Milwaukee County Community Reintegration Center about how mistakes do not define you. I was joined by Mayor Cavalier Johnson, Chief Judge Carl Ashley and My Way Out Executive Director Ruben Gaona, to share the experiences that made us who we are today.
