On 9/29/1879, Alexandre Jacob was born. Jacob was an anarchist thief who committed ~150 robberies, targeting the rich, politicians, & clergy. He gave money he robbed to anarchist causes. Ultimately he was caught, after shooting a cop, and sentenced to prison exile.

Excited to get this 1948 edition of Tomorrow is Beautiful by Lucy Robins Lang. Lang was a tireless anarchist, and spent considerable time at the Home Colony, and narrates her experiences there in this autobiography.

On September 24, 1901, the editors of the anarchist newspaper Discontent, Charles L. Govan, James W. Adams, and James E. Larkin were arrested for mailing obscene literature. Charge was over an article titled 'A Healthy Comparison,' defending free love, by Adams.
