We heard this rhetoric when Rishi Sunak gave his speech about welfare reform & sick-note culture. He said it was a 'moral mission' but the UN committee had a different view describing the reforms as devaluing disabled people & undermining human dignity.

Without a robust holistic approach, disabled people will not be supported to be work ready. The evidence overwhelmingly demonstrates that this process is not trauma informed, not sufficiently linked to other services and support, and not suitable to assist people to be job ready.
