Congratulations to DNHS' Roberto Resendez for winning the Gold Seal at the State V.A.S.E. Art Contes in San Marcos. A three-time state qualifier and state champ, Roberto has shown resilience and creativity in his artwork and his hard work has earned him the state championship!

DISD's 18+ Program will be hosting Market Day events April 30th and May 1st from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. at the Central Office Board Room. The students will be selling clothes, arts and crafts, chicken salad sandwiches and sweets. Please support our students!

Congrats to DHS Varsity Redskin soccer player Luis Conde Meza for being selected to the 2nd Academic All-State Team by the Texas High School Coaches Association and the Texas High School Coaches Education Foundation! Your hard work on the field and in the classroom has paid off.

Congrats to DNHS senior Christian Guerrero for being selected to the Texas High School Coaches Association Boys Track Academic All-State Team. In order to must have a GPA of 92 or higher and rank at the top of their class, amongst other criteria.

Congrats to DHS senior and student athlete Damian Martinez for being named a prestigious Gates Scholar! This incredible achievement marks the first Gates Scholar from DHS in 8 years, and Damian joins an elite group of just 750 chosen from a pool of 53,000 applicants nationwide.

Members of our DLPAC attended their monthly meeting this afternoon. Supt. Dr. Angela Dominguez gave the group updates on the Student Scholarship Golf Tournament results, Teacher of the Year Banquet, the 2025-2026 calendar voting results and other pertinent information.

In observance of National School Bus Driver Appreciation Day, Donna I.S.D. hosted a breakfast for our Transportation Dept. staff. Thank you for safely transporting our students to and from school, athletic events, and all district functions.
