Fabulous day today in Glór for the last day of our ‘world of welcome’. Thanks to ⁦Clare County Library⁩ and Kilkee library for a fabulous 6 weeks. We performed our song and dance, viewed our puppet display and listened to our podcasts. Lovely to see all our work coming together.

Today we made Varenyky which are a Ukrainian dumpling. They were delicious. This tied into our famine topic as some of the fillings include mashed potatoes!!

Busy day in Doonaha NS! We started the day with a trip to Kilkee library for our 4th week taking part in the ‘World of Welcomes’ programme. We finished off the day with our first Halloween art session. Clare County Library #worldofwelcomes

We put our IZAK9 cubes to good use today. Using our 5 languages, Irish English, Ukrainian, Polish and English, we put the numbers in alphabetical order. Lovely to hear all the languages being used so naturally! IZAK9 PDST Primary STEM Maths Week Ireland

Fabulous trip to the Battery in Doonaha today. History on our doorstep! We also saw an apple tree that is over 100 years old. We picked and ate delicious apples also! Thanks Carmel and buddy for the tour 🙏
