Someone tell the PM that the issue with sick(fit) notes is not the notes themselves but the deteriorating health of the nation. The PM address should’ve been about how to improve population health & reduce the health determinants gap not about punitive measures for the sick.

'There are close to a million and a half people that have been displaced, most of them multiple times'

Scott Anderson tells BBC News (UK) of the 'aura of fear' among the displaced population in southern 📍 , as people are anxious of a large scale military operation.

Great to see sensible advice from UK Health Security Agency, only wish more outlets covered it!

However, reactive, not proactive, and without proper support many people can't afford the time or the money...😞

Also, as vax dwindles, no other slices of Swiss cheese 🙄

I was proud tonight to speak on behalf of my profession in memory of our physiotherapy colleagues killed in Gaza alongside healthcare colleagues outside No10

We cannot be silent & must continue to advocate for our peers still working & living in the most inhumane conditions

Today Sadiq Khan has pledged to continue offering free school meals to primary school children, which is in my opinion a great use of London taxpayer's money. This is HUGE and part of what I’ve been working on for the past 20 years. Food in schools is as essential as exercise

That’s a Like from me!

An important public health intervention. Not only helping disadvantaged families financially & providing kids with more nutritious food but also likely to reduce stigma & potential negative psychological effects of singling kids out based on income.
