A bit of half term reading, thank you Gez Medinger Danny Altmann. Chapter 3 on #longcovidkids was an emotional read, esp the challenges for children, going to school, socialisation & psychological trauma resulting from a debilitating, invisible illness that is barely acknowledged.

If people are worried about resurgence of respiratory viruses, why aren't they advocated for mitigations? Surely, this is because mitigations were dropped. Why not clean air so we can minimise exposure to all airborne pathogens rather than arguing that exposure is a good thing?🧵
